Private sector investments in productive projects in the country have been growing steadily since the mid 1970s and opportunities continue to prevail in manufacturing and processing industries as well as the agribusiness sector. It is the intent of the Group to diversify into such ventures through equity participation joint-ventures in projects which have been thoroughly studies and identified as viable. At the present the Group is either in the process or has undertaken the essential studies for the following investment projects:

•  LPG bottling Plant and Bulk Distribution System for household and
    institutional customers.

•  Industrial Calcium Carbonate and Production Plant.

•  Marble and Granite Production and Processing Plant.

Proposals for investment projects are invited for consideration and such proposal should be comprehensive, covering :

•  The project idea with the essential terms of reference for a feasibility study.

•  Potential joint-venture partners and willingness for equity participation.

•  The basis for availability of appropriate technology and know-how.
